Bishop Wanok was grateful to the Bishops from GANAL and the priests for gracing the occasion.
He went on saying that the Perpetual Profession of the Sisters is significant in the diocese since the foundation of the institute of MSMMC was laid by the late Bishop Ceaser Asili the founding Bishop of Lira diocese.
The Bishop in his homily further said celebrating the Profession of the sisters is significant to the fact that God's presence is made known among His people
Other significance further shows special identity and mission of Jesus being accomplished in the various fields taken by the Religious among the people so that they may have life.
Bishop Wanok noted that It is important for the candidates to observe the charism of the congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Mary Mother of the Church to enable them create impact in the lives of people in their mission.
He shared that dedicating oneself in the mission of God comes with blessings and peace which emanate from Jesus Christ that is defined in the Charism of the Sisters of the institute of MSMMC.
According to Bishop, the mission of the Sisters of the institute makes them true and authentic witnesses of Jesus Christ to others.
He challenged the Sisters to make their mission more relevant in the lives of the people by their exemplary lifestyle amidst people.
He commended the parents of the candidates for support to vocation of the siblings to serve the Lord in the Vine yard of the Lord.
The Bishop further asked the Sisters to maintain their identity as religious to ensure authentic mission to influence the people and society at large.
Making his reflection on the World day of Peace, the Bishop asked that the message of peace be diseminated to gather the scattered people all together.
He stressed the importance of living the community life among the religious as a way to witness Christ and His presence among the people.
The prelate concluded his homily by urging the congregation to be champion of peace and the love of God among the people to create way for the mission of Christ to take root among the people.
At the start of the Rite of the Perpetual Profession the parents at the point of presentation of the candidates thanked God for the gift of the vocation to religious life upon their children.
